Hurricane "Pabu" attacked southern Thailand, killing at least 3 people and nearly 40,000 tourists stranded

The Airport Department of the Ministry of Transport of Thailand announced on the 4th that due to the influence of “Pabu”, the Wanlun Airport and Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport in southern Thailand will continue to be closed. The Samui Airport operated by Bangkok Airways of Thailand cancelled all flights on the 4th. At present, the southern airports such as Chumphon, Ranong, Krabi, Trang, and Narathiwat are also operating normally, and they are ready to respond to “Pabu”. Southern Thailand is a famous beach island resort, and most of the foreign tourists choose to fly to the local area.

The Thai Meteorological Agency predicted on the 4th that the weather in the next week said that the whole country's rainfall will continue until the 10th (next Thursday), the southern rainfall is the largest, followed by the north, the people need to beware of flash floods and flash floods. It is expected that the "Pabu" will move from the south to the Andaman Sea on the 5th, causing heavy rains in the south.
