On the afternoon of June 12, 2019, Lyu Yinong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Justice Bureau of Jing'an District, and Cheng Maodi, Chief of the Administrative Office of Notarization and Lawyers, visited our firm to inspect and guide the party building work. Managing Partner of Shanghai Yingdong Law Firm, Zhou Zihong, Party Branch Secretary, Hui Xiang, Party Branch Member and Senior Partner, Xie Turui, and Administrative Supervisor, Tu Zhenqiu, accompanied the inspection.

Guided by Zhou Zihong, Secretary Lyu Yinong and his entourage visited the party activity room and office environment of our firm, and provided guidance.

At the beginning of the meeting, Managing Partner Zhou Zihong introduced the overview of development model and experience of the Winteam 500 and Yingdong system. He said that Yingdong would focus on digitalization, specialization and internationalization this year, and that the Firm had been always upholding the leadership of the party, and constantly enhanced ideological, organizational, work style and system building in the party branch at our firm, and fulfilled its major tasks of comprehensively facilitating anti-crime and crackdown work, along with daily party activities.

After that, Secretary Hui Xiang of Yingdong reported the firm’s party building progress since its establishment on five aspects--"institutional standards", "legal services", "talent training", "cultural construction" and "public welfare activities". He also reaffirmed that Yingdong would consistently and thoroughly fulfill the general requirements of party building in the new era, establish the mindset of “party building leads firm development” in face of new landscape and tasks, ensure the responsibility of party building is incorporated into all aspects of firm development, and unswervingly complete annual goals.

Next, Xie Turui, a member of the party branch, said that our firm’s party building progressed in diverse directions by active party co-building with regional units for synergy, providing more convenient services for units and residents in the jurisdiction of the party branch and better aligning party building with the actual needs of the community and the masses.

At the end, Secretary Lyu Yinong fully appreciated the Firm's party building work and governance, and highlighted that Yingdong’s party building activities had fulfilled the needs of the society with rich content and profound impact and that its remarkable achievements in personnel training and cultural construction demonstrated Yingdong as a young law firm with cohesion and full of positive energy. Secretary Lyu Yinong required Yingdong to adhere to the mindset of “party building leads firm development”, plan the development of Yingdong aligning with the national development strategy, the four brands plan of Shanghai and Jing’an’s development needs, and explore effective approaches to foreign business, personnel training and internal risk control, to orchestrate party building with its own characteristics.

After the party building research and guidance meeting, Yingdong will continue to enhance the creativity, cohesion and competence of the Firm’s party activities by defining standards with creation in party building, rolling out pilot programs in party building to facilitate development, so as to bring the Firm to the next stage and higher level.
